Based on formality of fame and popularity among your fellow friends and acquaintances, its something any member would seek at our home Dewaniya.com. Founded by saoudss and conducted by Dewaniya Organizer, the popular Member of the Month contest is conducted every month in the General Talk section on the 10th of every month. The winner is recognized on unanimous voting by members and selection hosted in the preliminary round based on stand outs of members in their contribution to Dewaniya.com. Present Member of the Month members have been voted based on their outstanding achievements and positive attitude towards fellow members in the forum.

The process of the nomination and selection is very simple. First a preliminary round is hosted by Dewaniya Organizer where members have a defined time limit to nominate:

Three (3) members (NO REPEATED NAMES WILL BE ACOUNTABLE)
Based on the order on how the members are nominated, the points will be assigned accordingly; meaning nominated name number one (1) gets five (5) points, nominated member two (2) gets three (3) points and the last nominated member will get only one (1) point.
The 5 members with the most points according to the unanimous nominations made by the members, will enter the actual voting stage.

The telling of the nominations and the actual counting will be served by Dewaniya Organizer and no one else. Note that in the case of changing nominations, one must private message Dewaniya Organizer before the deadline is met. Otherwise, the nomination is final.

The voting process is conducted also by Dewaniya Organizer where members will unanimously vote for the top five (5) members that have been nominated in the preliminary round:

A deadline will be set for the voting period
The winner will be rewarded the title of “Member of the Month (the month of which the member has won in)”.
The title will be set underneath the member's nick for a consecutive 3 month period, after that the original title will recover again.
Tthe title cannot be switched to someone else, and cannot be given up by the winning member.

In the rare case of a tie, a tie breaker will also be conducted for the tied members, and another voting process will take place in a shorter time period that will be defined then.
